The list with Barcelona events going on in the coming three months is updated frequently by Spotter Rafael Dujarric.
Every Thursday - The nights of the flat (to live and share)
Three dynamite french expats came up with the idea of gathering people looking or offering a flat/room to rent. Whether looking or offering to rent, everyone is given a color sticker and the tables are filled with green papers with ads.

14 - 22 november – L’alternativa Independent film festival
L’Alternativa once again aims to open Barcelona eyes to films unlikely to be seen in commercial cinemas.
The Festival aims to be a space for meeting likeminded people and offer an opportunity to see short, feature, animation and documentary films that open our eyes, make us rethink the way we see the world, teach us new things and take us far away (from Mexico to Lebanon).
In other words, we offer films to shake you up, make you feel alive and make you think. Films carefully sought out, found and brought here to prove independent filmmaking is alive and kicking.
We warmly invite you to the fifteenth edition of a festival that each year strives to offer new ideas and share the organisers’ passion for alternative film making.
L’Alternativa | 10 tickets for € 35.00

15 November - Festival Transglossadors
It might sound strange to find glossa and hip hop in the same event, but in Transglossadors it is possible.
In its third edition, this festival will try to outline the similarities of this two tendencies with workshops, open mic sessions, y show/performance with De Calaix and Rapsodes.

18 November - 14 December - World Press Photo
Each year an independent international jury consisting of thirteen members selects winners from photographs submitted by photojournalists, agencies, newspapers and photographers from around the world. Photographs compete in 11 categories: news events, current affairs, people in the news, sports, action photography, sports reportage, contemporary issues, daily life, portraits, nature and art and entertainment.
The annual exhibition of the winning photographs tours to 80 cities in 40 countries each year, on condition that all works must be shown without any type of censorship. The fact that thousands of visitors around the world see the exhibition shows photography’s power to overcome linguistic and cultural barriers.
World Press Photo provides images for the collective memory. Stunning images that have changed, on many occasions, the course of history and public opinion.
